I recommend hotel lupita. The hostess is friendly and helpful. The apartments are clean and affordablel. It is also a great place to stay especially for those who have sick patient at the general hospital O'HARAN or Clinica de Merida. It is within walking distance of these 2 hospital.

Tranquilo y cómodo. 550$ la noche . Consta de portal, sala comedor cocina patio de labado pequeño y cuarto con baño . Está bien para un matrimonio

Hotel Lupita has clean and affordable apartments to stay in. Access to wifi (works best outside), TV, Stove, Refrigerator and a Washing Machine are available at the time of this post, would be good to check before you arrive on access to the aformentioned.(Cookware isnt provided by the Hotel).The family who runs this business is very warm and friendly. There is a lot of space outside to relax and Malls, Walmart, Chedrauis are between 10 to 20 minutes distance driving or within Taxis as this Hotel is on one of the main avenues in Merida. Around this hotel is an Oxxo, Pharmacy, restaurants, Laundry service, and Hospitals are a short walking distance. Overall, it is indeed a good affordable, safe place to stay for a short or long period of time.
